Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to book my own hotel room?

Nope! We are booking your room for you at the Westin Chattanooga, which is also where the conference will be held.

What are travel days?

There will be events on the evening of the 2nd, and full days on the 3rd and 4th. We suggest planning to travel on October 2nd and 5th.

What airport should I fly into?

The closest airport to the conference location is the Chattanooga Airport (CHA). You can often times get connecting flights from surrounding airports in larger cities such as Atlanta, Nashville, and Knoxville.

Should I plan to rent a car?

You can if you would like to at your own expense. However the hotel, conference hall, and EE office are all within very close walking distance of each other.

How does travel reimbursement work?

We will be sending you individual communication on this, but we will review and approve your travel info.  You will need to provide proof of receipt upon booking flights, and then you will receive reimbursement in person at the conference.

What meals are included at the conference?

The majority of meals, snacks, and drinks will be provided during the conference. There will be 1 meal on your own during the conference days. Meals while traveling, and meals before/after the conference officially starts/ends are not included and will not be covered.

Can I bring my spouse?

Yes, you may bring a spouse at your own expense.
